Setelah menghadirkan dua kolaborasi bersama Hindia dan VIDI, kini Isyana Sarasvati menggandeng Afgan dalam karya terbarunya yang berjudul “Something New”. Lagu ini menjadi rilisan ketiga sekaligus penutup dari chapter pertama bertajuk ‘Lunora’, sebuah babak eksplorasi musikal penuh warna dalam album kelima Isyana, “EKLEKTIKO”.

“Something New” bercerita tentang sebuah hubungan yang berada di titik stagnan dan mulai kehilangan gairah, namun masih menyimpan harapan untuk memperbarui dan menghidupkan kembali ikatan tersebut. Lagu ini ditulis oleh Afgan bersama dua komposer asal Swedia: Harry Sommerdahl dan Rebbi James. Dalam pengerjaan vokalnya, mereka juga dibantu oleh Kamga yang bertindak sebagai vocal director.
