Industri musik dunia berduka dengan meninggalnya Ozzy Osbourne pada Selasa (22/7/2025) waktu setempat.

Musisi rock legendaris sekaligus mantan frontman Black Sabbath itu tutup usia di umur 76 tahun usai bertarung melawan beragam penyakit yang dideritanya.

Tak hanya bersinar saat masih bersama Black Sabbath, Ozzy Osbourne juga diakui sebagai solois. Lagu-lagu solonya tak kalah hits dengan Black Sabbath.

Salah satunya adalah Mama, I’m Coming Home dari album No More Tears (1991), yang menjadi satu-satunya lagu solo Ozzy Osbourne yang berhasil menembus tangga lagu Top 40 Rolling Stones.

Meski banyak yang mengira lagu ini ditujukan untuk sang ibu, Ozzy menjelaskan bahwa sebenarnya lagu tersebut dibuat untuk istrinya, Sharon, yang ia panggil Mama.

Lagu ini menjadi favorit di MTV dan memainkan peran besar dalam memperluas basis penggemar Ozzy, bahkan menjadi emosional baginya saat tampil kala Sharon melawan kanker pada awal 2000-an.
